3D-Rendering: Cinema 4D XL 7.303
The AMD Athlon takes up a very aggressive stance in the Cinema benchmark. Here, the AMD Athlon XP 2800+ gets the top spot and shows the P4/ 2800 a clean pair of heels. The difference is an impressive 21 seconds! Intel's P4 optimization did not have any effect.
3D-Rendering: 3D Studio Max 5.0
In the 3D Studio Max 5 benchmark, the Athlon XP 2800+ was unable to manage first place. The "Dragon_Character_rig" scene is computed in a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The P4/ 3066 rendered the scene in 90 seconds, while the old P4/ 1800 took nearly 160 seconds.
