Marvel Heroes Enters Closed Beta on October 1st

At last week's PAX 2012, Gazillion entertainment revealed three new characters for its highly anticipated action MMO, Marvel Heroes.

After unveiling Punisher, Daredevil and Squirrel Girl, the company proceeded to reveal the game's latest action-packed trailer.

Designed by the creator of the Diablo franchise, David Brevik, the free-to-play action MMO has been described as "the spiritual successor to Diablo 2".

Those are some pretty big shoes to fill, but it seems like Gazillion entertainment is up for the challenge. A release date for the title wasn't given, but the company did say a closed beta would begin October 1st.

So if you'd like a chance to strap on your favorite superhero cape, suit or torn pants, head on over to the Marvel Heroes webpage to sign-up (it's located on the right side).

Which Marvel hero will you use to take down Doctor Doom? Let us know in the comments below!

Eh, it doesn't look too good to me at the moment, but I signed up for beta anyways, just to check it out.

That trailer had some really bad writing. And I am sick of emotionless voice actors with scratchy throats.

I just wish we could create our own custom heroes rather than having to use Marvel ones. Don't get me wrong I love Marvel and many of the characters but I find it would be a better experience for me if I got to make a hero that best represents myself and be able to team up with Marvel characters.

*cringe* I dunno but this sounds and looks horrid. Looks like one of those F2P asian mmorpg with a Marvel license.
