Phanteks Shrinks Enthoo Case To Micro ATX

Purveyor of huge cases and funky names, Phanteks introduced a new member of its Enthoo case line for COMPUTEX 2014. The Micro ATX form-factor Enthoo Evolv's small size adds to the rugged feel of its tool-free panels.

A drive rack that consumes the entire space in front of the board can be easily removed to add a dual-fan liquid cooling radiator to either the front or top panel. Long graphics cards can fit through the drive bays without removing the rack, and the bottom section continues to support two 3.5" internal drives even with the cage removed.

Other developments include a new multi-color light controller and new finishes for the previously-announced Enthoo Luxe, as well as new paint options for the more recent Enthoo Pro.

The Enthoo Evolv is scheduled for release in July. As for the Enthoo Luxe, it was announced six months ago but still hasn't appeared as an available product on Phantek's website as of this writing.

It's hard to get excited about a new case but at least it is smaller.

ive allways like the Enthoo but i just can't imagine having a system any larger than my Fractal arc midi r2 and the enthoo is nearly twice as large.

Although I love the ideas that Phanteks are putting out they are targeting a very small market. The Enthoo Mini have lots of promise for a dual system and the Evolve looks like it can be great to build in. Im waiting to see what they can do with a mini ITX case.

I agree with you. I love the Enthoo Primo but it's just soo big. This article didn't mention it, but they are also releasing a case called the Enthoo Mini XL along side the Evolv (not the Evolve by the way...) that is almost identical to the Primo in looks, but is only one inch taller than the Arc Midi R2. It is for sure the case I will be using for my upcoming build once it releases.

I got excited when I first saw the name MiniXL, as I thought it was going to be Phanteks full on mini-itx offering. I'm really curious as to what they can come up with in that form factor.

The enthoo evolv looks nice and has tons of rooms for different kind of cooling setup, but the usb 3, mic and headphone ports are kinda misplaced.
