Best Laptop: Asus ZenBook Pro 15
The first thing you'll notice about the ZenBook Pro 15 is that its touchpad doubles as a second screen where you can quick launch apps, use a media player, type on a numpad, or even watch videos. Even if you're not impressed with the ScreenPad, you'll be drawn in by the Pro's attractive, Deep Blue color scheme and Rose Gold accents.
But this beauty is also a beast. Under the hood, you'll find up to a Core i7 H-series processor and discrete Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti graphics. There's also an optional 4K display. So, if you want to edit videos or crunch big numbers in style, the ZenBook Pro 15 might be just what you need.
Best Desktop: MSI Trident A
MSI's Trident A desktop proves that you don't need a giant chassis to get big-time performance. This slim system is just few inches wide, about 1.5 feet tall, and just about a foot deep. But it finds room for up to a GTX 1080 Ti graphics card, the latest Core i7 processor, and as many as four SSDs.
To keep this tiny space cool, the Trident A has separate compartments for its power supply, CPU, and GPU so each has only its own heat to contend with. MSI's desktop doesn't skimp on style either, with a tempered glass side panel that pops open with a single press, a colorful RGB strip on the front surface, and red accents throughout this raven-black case.
