New and Improved: NVIDIA nForce3 250 Gb Chipset
VIA K8T800 / K8T800 Pro
The VIA chipset is priced lower than the nForce3 from NVIDIA. For this reason, and because of the narrow popularity of the SiS 755, the K8T800 has become a serious rival for NVIDIA. Not surprising - technically the two-chip solution offers the hippest features, including serial ATA with RAID and a possible additional Gigabit-Ethernet controller - and, not to be forgotten, the vinyl audio chips from the same manufacturer as well.
A K8T Neo from MSI was used here.
