Midi Towers: You've Come a Long Way, Baby
Fixtures For The Drives
The drives in the CoolerMaster Centurion are secured by guide rails. The runners, however, are welded to the case and installation takes a bit of getting used to. Care is required when breaking off the screening plates as it is not as easy to take off the front flap and the protective plates as the manufacturer imagined.
The drives are held in the case with preinstalled plastic clips.
There's room for four drives in the lower cage.
The Ventilation System
Two system fans of varying size take care of ventilation. They are also made by CoolerMaster. The smaller 3" (80mm) fans sits behind the front section and primarily cools the built-in hard drives. A 4.7" (120mm) fan removes the waste heat.
A 4.7" (120mm) is preinstalled
