Midi Towers: You've Come a Long Way, Baby
Sharkoon Silveration Basic: Cheap Steel Case
From the outside you can't tell looking at the Sharkoon case that life on the inside is the same as that with the Silverstone, Enermax and Thermaltake cases. The black midi tower weighs in at a solid 30.8 lbs (14 kg). Four pedestals that fold out to the side provide good stability.

Front Panels And Connection Ports
The front side consists of a fixed element and a shutter that is easy to open, giving access to the various 5.25 and 3.5" drive bays behind. The USB and FireWire ports are located on top of the door. You could look for the reset button a long time though with the Silveration; besides power-on, the midi tower has no other functional buttons.
The drives are located behind the front panel shutter.
Connection ports for microphone and headphones
The ports for USB and IEEE1394 are found on the top
