Front Sections And Connectors
The front is very conspicuous and takes some time to get used to. The drive covers remain in the case even after installation of a 5.25" drive and open like a door. Unfortunately, they are fashioned from plastic and give way under exerted pressure. Although they didn't break in the test, they did frequently spring out of their fixtures.
Almost 30 LEDs on the front serve as lighting effects. An outsize 'X' is at the bottom. In its center is a large control knob, which regulates the interval at which the blue LEDs flash. You can turn off the lightshow if it bugs you.
