The Board: Gigabyte GA-7VAXP-A Ultra
The 7VAXP-A Ultra is one of the first KT400A motherboards. Unfortunately, it does not come with the new southbridge VT8237.
"DDR400+" - whatever that means, it sounds promising. But Triton... don't we know that name already?
This kind of controller accumulation should soon come to an end. VIA's new VT8237 comes with four Serial ATA ports in addition to the two well-known parallel ATA ports.
