InWin, Ridiculous/Awesome Case, Repeat

Inwin brought its spherical Winbot chassis to PAX East, and seeing the unique bubble PC never gets old. If the plexiglass dome case isn’t enough to grab your eye, the system inside is illuminated with RGB LED components (including the liquid cooling pump/reservoir, motherboard, and memory). If you want one for yourself, though, you’ll have to talk to InWin directly--just make sure to bring ridiculous amounts of cash.

Lenovo's Legion Is Legion

Lenovo’s rebranded gaming division, Legion, lent a big hand to PAX East by shipping 350 of its Y720 Cube gaming PCs for use in the large free-play area of the convention center. This legion of Legion Cubes varied in configuration, with both Core i7 and i5 processors, 16GB of memory, and GeForce GTX 1070 and 1080 graphics under the hood.

Maingear, Ukuza, And Apex Cooling

Maingear provided several systems for independent game publisher Ukuza, including its custom-designed F131 desktop with Apex custom cooling. Although full specifications weren’t available, we recognize this to be a Super Stock configuration of the F131, with custom liquid Apex cooling and hardline tubing for the CPU and GPU.

MSI's Refreshed Coffee Lake-H Lappies

MSI showcased its recently updated laptop lineup sporting Intel’s 8th generation Coffee Lake-H processors, with the GS65 Stealth and GE73 Raider RGB leading the way with their Core i7-8750H processors. There was even an Xotic PC version of the GE73 Raider RGB, with a blue Fortnite wrap on the chassis.

Zotac's Mini Mek1 Army

Zotac showed up to PAX East with its usual assortment of mini PCs, GPUs, and its VR Go backpack PC, in addition to a small army of Mek1 desktop PCs loaded with a plethora of AAA games that easily handled high settings on the 1080p displays with a Core i7-7700 CPU and GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics card.
