Red-Hot Stuff: 11 DVD Burners Reviewed

Teac DV-W50D, Continued

We're afraid that we can't say anything about the software/hardware bundle. We received the Teac burner in a plain brown box without even the remotest indication what the retail package looks like. The Teac website told us that the drive ships with "installation hardware, recording and video editing software, DVD video player software" and "full playback software". The website also offers downloadable firmware updates for Teac drives.

  • Very informative review. Tedious reading and loading it though...It would have been nice to see a chart or graph at the end of the article with all the drives together. This loading page after page after page sucks big time. too much other crap. Otherwise, I did find what I was looking for. Thanks Tom's Hardware!
