The five runs of Quake 3 Arena revealed a consistent picture. Thanks to Dual-Channel-DDR333, the Athlon XP 2700+ and 2800+ deliver emphatic performance gains compared with the (currently not yet available) XP 2600+. But neither CPU can match the superior performance of the P4/ 3066.
