Huntkey Announces FX Series of PSUs
Huntkey has announced two new power supplies that will make part of its new FX Series of PSUs.
Huntkey has announced its new FX series of PSUs with the 80+ Platinum FX500SE and the 80+ Bronze FX620M. Both units comply fully with Intel ATX specifications and feature powerful 12 V rails capable of producing 90 percent of the total output.
The FX500SE features a temperature sensitive 120 mm cooling fan and excellent voltage regulation courtesy of it's Japanese bulk and solid state capacitors which gives the unit a 12 V regulation of ±1 percent. Under typical load the unit is expected to provide a 92 percent efficiency.
The FX620M features a temperature sensitive 140 mm intelligent fan for optimal silent operation and partially modular cabling. The unit is expected to deliver a 87 percent efficiency under typical load and ±1 percent 12 V regulation.
U.S. availability and pricing remains unknown.

jestersage I used to downplay huntkey a while back, too. But they've gone legit it seems. The co president had a chat with hardwaresecrets after the incident and started making PSUs based on the site's recommendations. The briber was, accdg to HwS, a local reseller in south america and not the company itself.Reply
I'm still pretty wary of older huntkey PSUs but their newer ones seem ok.
