Chipmaker takes next step in 'nano' race

Texas Instruments (TI) said it is currently on track to sample a wireless 65-nm Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) processor in the first quarter of 2005, maintaining its two-year cycle between manufacturing technology generations.
