#3: 'Diablo 3'
Diablo threatens to return once again, and you must call on allies to aid you in the terrifying journey to quell the evil threat. The game features seven character classes (some of which come as part of expansions), each with their own unique set of abilities. With a party of different characters, you can easily unleash lethal attacks against a weak group of skeleton warriors or a mighty boss. As you play, you’ll also need to keep an eye out for rare items or gear that will make your team even tougher to defeat on the battlefield.

#2: 'Borderlands 2'
The hunt for a new Vault is underway, and you need to take out Handsome Jack and his robotic army to reach it. You can choose to play as one of four characters, and up to three players can join your adventure. Your friends are useful throughout the journey because they provide additional firepower and can easily revive you in the heat of battle. If you want to test your party’s skills, and also get some of the best weapons in the process, you’ll need to play through the campaign again on the True or Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode.

#1: 'Portal 2'
Aperture Science needs participants for a few routine tests. Playing as the robots Atlas and P-body, you and a friend must complete a series of puzzle-based levels using the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device. Each stage is more difficult than the last, so teamwork is paramount if you want to move on to the next level. Be sure to give your partner some encouragement with one of the many gesture animations available. After all, teamwork makes the dream work, and it also keeps GLaDOS happy.

I do think Portal 2 was a bit overrated. I'd have put Borderlands 2 (or just the Borderlands series as the Pre-Sequel and some of the expansions were also good) at the top. As far as Diablo III goes, I got way more out of Path of Exile for less money. Diablo III is a lot simpler so it's good if you are playing it with younger family members. PoE is more like Diablo II modernized with a seriously advanced skill tree. I am not sure how Don't Starve Together got on there. :P There are some good titles in that list though. I was a bit surprised at the lack of procedurally generated voxel games, but then again it wasn't meant to be an exhaustive list or anything.

eza Check out Rainbow Six 3 (the last real R6 game) it's cheap, runs on anything, and is still a great co-op FPSReply -
Shagos StarCraft 2 has been one of my favorites lately. It's the only RTS game that I know of that has specific co-op missions and commanders. Reminds me of Red Alert 3 and it's co-op only campaign which was super fun, but is difficult to get working now that you have to use 3rd party support to replace gamespy.Reply
