Reading A DVD
The Pioneer device offers decent performance for DVD read and write capabilities. But as you can see from the graphic above, it only reads a DVD-R at a maximum speed of 6x. What is true for the DVR-A06 is also the case for all of the other DVD writers. Even on DVD-ROM readers, the reading speed is limited to 6x.
