Here is a side by side comparison of the four discs printed on the 960.

After spending considerable time examining all eight of our final printed CDs, it was apparent that the 960 offered slightly better overall image quality. As for print speed, the 960 offered the best print performance with a time of 3:18, while the 900 lagged a little behind with a time of 4:14. Still, the print times were very close and the difference of about a minute should not be considered as a deal breaker in your buying decision. We continue to prefer the front loading design of the 960 to the rear loading design of the 900. We did notice that the black areas seemed to still appear on the light side with the 900, and that these black areas were noticeably darker and better looking with the 960 CDs.
