NZXT Launches 'eSports Package' with Steelseries and XSplit

NZXT has launched a free "eSports package" that bundles in a three-month Premium XSplit License and a 30 percent off coupon for Steelseries' online store for all purchases of the Phantom 630 chassis made from the NZXT Armory store.

The Phantom 630 is an ATX chassis that retails for $179.99 and is advertised by NZXT as offering "unrivaled customization cable management and liquid cooling capabilities" that make it the "ultimate chassis for the high performance gamer."

Though NZXT's marketing department cites it as enabling users to "build the ultimate battle station and game like a true pro," not all users may find the "eSports bundle" as an offering they need alongside a new PC build.

The Phantom 630 eSports Package will be available for a limited time and is only valid for U.S. Customers purchasing the chassis in NZXT's Armory store.

Question to NZXT owners in Tom's Hardware community: has anyone actually ever used NZXT Armory store or do you buy your NZXT stuff from Newegg and other online stores? Because I somehow get an impression that no one ever buys directly from manufacturer website stores, be it NZXT, Corsair or anything else.

Owner of the tried and true original Phantom Full tower here. in general I do just buy NZXT stuff from newegg or amazon or something. but I have noticed that certain NZXT accessories, especially the windowed side-panel for the original phantom, some wire adapters, and the newest products from NZXT seem to only show up in the NZXT Armory, so it is worth checking it out once in a while. pricing is mostly competitive, and you get free shipping for orders over $100.

I would say if you're a huge NZXT fan and is planning a new build, it's worth buying everything you want from NZXT from their site all in one go

    XSplit? Steelseries? NZXT?

Look, I love the design of NZXT cases, but you're gonna offer XSplit 3-month trial and Steelseries coupons as a promotion item to sell a case that can only be bought at YOUR storefront?

Seems fishy and XSplit isn't all that great(just use OBS) and there are better price headsets than Steelseries out there. I have a pair of Siberia V2s and their almost $100! I have a pair of Turtle Beach X21s and they are more comfortable and sound better than the Siberias and they only cost $50!

Sorry, but this is no reason to buy this NZXT case unless you wanted this case inparticular, plus I'd much rather buy the Switch 810 or the Phantom 820(to be honest, I'd rather buy a Corsair 650D or 900D than NZXT, but these would be my choices for NZXT).

Thanks for the reply - I WOULD buy it from there if I'd live in the US... because I'm aware of Phantom panels only being available there. I have the original white Phantom too and my CPU heatsink renders the 240mm fan mount on the side useless, so I wanted the window panel, but alas...
