Bethesda just sent over an email announcing that online pre-registration for QuakeCon 2013 will begin on Monday, April 15 at 7pm CST / 8pm EST. As always, the event itself is free to general admission and BYOC gamers thanks to Bethesda, id Software and QuakCon volunteers, sponsors and exhibitors. Pre-registration simply means attendees can secure a BYOC spot, grab Fast Passes and a Swag Pack full of limited edition items before the QuakeCon doors open this summer.
The company is offering four pre-registration packages: the BYOC Select-a-Seat ($30, limited to 1,250 packages), the BYOC Select-a-Seat and Swag Pack ($90, limited to 500 packages), the BYOC Select-a-Seat and QuakeCon Done Quick ($50, limited to 250 packages), and the standalone Swag Pack ($60, limited to 250 packages).
For fans wanting the Swag Pack, it features an official QuakeCon 2013 T-Shirt, an Elder Scrolls Online Ouroboros T-Shirt, another special limited edition T-Shirt Bethesda wouldn't elaborate on, and a cool QuakeCon-branded Logitech G400 mouse. Also packed in the bundle is a $5 voucher for Bethesda's on-site retail store which will have both QuakeCon exclusives and items pulled from the company's just-launched online store.
The pre-registration bundles should speak for themselves. The BYOC Select-a-Seat option means gamers can reserve a seat of their choice in the BYOC area and receive a QuakeCon 2013 BYOC T-Shirt. The "QuakeCon Done Quick" option includes an open express lane for registering for the BYOC, and an express lane to every speaker, panel and public event along with limited reserve access seating for each.
QuakeCon will take place on-site at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas. Doors to QuakeCon will open on Thursday, August 1st at 9:00am CT and will remain open through August 4th. For the entire list of pre-registration packages, see below.
