Cooltek Announces W1 PC Enclosure

Cooltek, a German manufacturer, has announced its new Mini-ITX HTPC enclosure – the W1. The case is expected to come in two versions: the W1, and the W1 Window, which obviously ships with a side panel window.

The case measures 356 x 242 x 362 mm, thus having room for a good bit of hardware. It can house up to Mini-ITX motherboards along with graphics cards up to 320 mm long, a single slim slot-loading optical drive, four 3.5" drives and another two 2.5" drives. The case is built to house standard ATX-size power supplies.

Cooling is handled by a rear 140 mm exhaust fan, as well as a 140 mm front intake, with support for water cooling radiators of equal sizes, as well as external water cooling loops due to its water cooling grommets.

Front I/O connectivity is taken care of by a pair of USB 3.0 ports as well as the standard set of HD audio jacks.

Honestly, after watching the review, this case is bigger than the Bitfenix Prodigy with less cooling options. Users already complain that the Prodigy is already too big too.
