Roccat Expands Ryos Keyboard Line With Compact Options

Roccat is adding to its Ryos mechanical gaming keyboard series with two compact ten-key-less versions: one with per-key illumination feature and one without backlighting. The new versions are called the Ryos TKL Pro and Ryos TKL.

Roccat says that these new keyboards were developed based on feedback from the company's Facebook page.

“We posted the ten key less version of the Ryos as an “easter egg” earlier this year. The demand from the community was overwhelming so we basically had no choice but to build it”, says René Korte.

The company adds that the TKL Pro version features a "cutting-edge MCU" (microcontroller), which supports illumination effects such as "per-key breathing" and will be available in four different switch colors.

Why is there 3 extra buttons at the bottom of the space bar?
Those buttons will be annoying, since now you'll have watch where you rest your palm, without accidentally hitting one of those.
This like the track pads on laptops, if it's too sensitive, then it may cause some typing problems if it's accidentally hit with the palm.

I kind of like the design, but please add a "function" button to have lazy keys, please!

I can't live without the volume and play/stop/FF/RW keys for Christs sake!

    Also, programmable keys anyone?

    Cheers!

Hope there is a windows key lock. Hate hitting that key in the middle of a firefight.

Those 3 extra buttons on the bottom of the keyboard are very nice for MMO games like World of Warcraft which is absolutely fantastic specially for binding extra macros for faster ingame spell/ability cast! I Love it like coolaid on a hot sunny day!
