Samsung Galaxy Gear Gets a Bit More Galaxy Compatible

When it launched, the Samsung Galaxy Gear had… a few problems. Short battery life, awkward implementation of Android and limited device compatibility (see our sister site LAPTOP's review). Today, Samsung is looking to fix at least one of those problems by announcing support for the Galaxy S4, the S3 and Galaxy Note 2 in the next few days, with the Galaxy S 4 Active, the 4 Mini and the Mega in the coming months.

Hopefully, this move combined with their attempt to fix their usability problems will be rolled into future devices, yielding some better smartwatches down the line.

In addition to the Galaxy Gear updates, many of these devices will be updated for Android 4.3, Jelly Bean.

...a gimmick that will flop massively.

With every Samsung article we have the resident anti-samsung Troll named Otacon that keeps coming out from under its bridge to bite the ankles of any passerby. Yet the moderators let him continue to troll while others are removed for doing less.

The updates are already rolling out for most of the devices. Here's the At&t one. Its been leak but its very stable. If you have an note 2 from At&t than you can update pretty easily. Here is how to update it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-m0KepXuPA&feature=share&list=UUZSjG3KTUBvvAEl8tvCwiXw
