SmallPC Announces SD240ML Rugged Marine Touchscreen

Small PC, a manufacturer of rugged computers and displays, has announced its latest touchscreen LCD display. Coming from Small PC, of course it is rugged, waterproof, and readable in bright sunlight.

The SD240ML is a 24" touchscreen LED LCD display, with a brightness of a rather impressive 1000 nits. The projective capacitive touchscreen also features a Full HD resolution.

The connectivity on the screen is also made using waterproof plugs. Video inputs are provided for HDMI, VGA and Composite interfaces, while the touchscreen interface communicates through USB.

Small PC has the display tested to match IP67 requirements.

"Adding the PCT technology to our Marine LCD's required some specialized design changes to the internal mounting and gaskets to maintain ruggedness and sealing but the PCT Multi-Touch is a great feature for these larger marine displays" – Robert Vance, Small PC's Engineering Manager.

The display is available from Small PC's website, though to obtain one your wallet will also need to have $3695 available.
