Benchmark Results: 3DMark
Many of 3DMark's tests fall outside the scope of actual games, with metrics that benefit from additional graphics power, even at settings where games would be CPU-bottlenecked. Guess that's why they call it a synthetic, right? Leading with this benchmark gives us a brief look at the “raw power” of each configuration while getting its less-relatable scores out of the way.
Four cards provide only around 12% more performance than three, even in these highly-optimized tests. That can’t be good for the bottom line, but we have yet to see if its necessary for super-high 5760x1080 resolutions.
