The Thermaltake TPG-1050F1FAP might not be a match for the formidable Seasonic Prime Ultra Platinum 1000W, but still, it achieves high performance in all areas. On top of that, it has 50W more power and many RGB lighting modes. It uses a modern CWT platform, which boasts a high build quality and good components along with a Hydro-Dynamic bearing fan. Finally, the ten-year warranty shows Thermaltake's faith in this platform.

For users that want RGB power supplies, Thermaltake offers a wide range of suitable products that have good performance and reliability in addition to their snazzy aesthetics. It is helpful for users to have alternative options to the typical high-end Corsair, Seasonic, and EVGA platforms that dominate today's market.

Although the Thermaltake Grand RGB Platinum 1050W has to face intense competition, it achieves higher overall performance than the Corsair HX1000, but it loses to the mighty Seasonic Prime Ultra Platinum with similar capacity. If Thermaltake manages to fix the weird fan profile and implement proper over-temperature protection, this product will be even better.
