Sparkle Demos Quad-Display GTX 580 GPU, Boothbabe Models Android 3.0 Tablet
Sparkly new GPU and Tablet, powered by Nvidia.
Sparkle had its Calibre X580 Captain video card on display, which has five video outputs (three DisplayPort and two DVI) but can only use four of them to drive four monitors simultaneously. It's not completely official yet, but Sparkle says that it'll be out late June at a price of around $529.
Also on display is the Calibre WHDI, which can stream audio and video from a PC to a display without cable over a wireless connection (WHDI).This product should have a price of $199 when it arrives late September.
Surprising was Sparkle's tablet entry, which it calls the X-Pad. It's powered by a Tegra 2, features a 10.1 inch screen and runs Android Honeycomb. It's got a 5 megapixel camera on the back and a 2 megapixel on the front. From the pictures we can see a decent number of I/O ports, though full functionality of all of them is still unknown. This one is also slated for September.

The functionality is quite well known and understood but it is not for minors. So all minors, please, leave!

Aw, I liked the booth babe from previous day's news...
But can she play Crysis?
How is it possible to have 4 video outs on a 580? I thought 2 monitors per GPU is a hardware limitation for Nvidia cards.

My regular EVGA GTX 460 1GB has 3 video outs...
OK, but does it run three monitors....
no.
if it does, it's not in wide screen like AMD's Eyefinity..
for mcuh how the gril?
Cool stuff from Sparkle.
It seems a like a GTX580 with 4 simultaneous outlets should've garnered some attention. But they had to throw the boothbabe in (even in the title)! Sigh...at least it's good to look at.
