Just yesterday we got wind of a white Nexus 4 from UK network TalkTalk. Though there was no official announcement, the device went up for pre-order as part of a bundle that included the Nexus 7. However, today brings us a more specific release date for that white device. According to Crave, the white Nexus 4 will launch on December 13. No word on whether or not it will also be available on other networks or in other countries.
Though a white version of a smartphone isn't really all that special (the iPhone and Galaxy phones are also available in white as well as the traditional black), the fact remains that it's currently pretty hard to get a Nexus 4 in any color. The upcoming launch of the white model will give those that missed out the first time around a second chance to get their hands on Google's latest smartphone.
The Nexus 4 packs a 4.7-inch 1280x768 IPS display (320 ppi), Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 8GB or 16GB of storage, an 8-megapixel camera (1.3-megapixel camera up front), a 2,100mAh Li-Polymer battery, NFC, and Android 4.2. It doesn't feature support for 4G LTE, nor does it allow for storage expansion via MicroSD.
