Iiyama has continued its astonishingly rapid expansion of its ProLite family of desktop monitors with the launch of the XB2483HSU that features a 24-inch LED backlit AMVA+ panel instead of the usual IPS display.
The monitor offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080, viewing angles of 178° / 178°, a 4 ms (grey to grey) response time and a 3:001 contrast ratio. The XB2483HSU also includes DVI, HDMI and VGA connectors, a built-in 2 port USB 2.0 hub and 2W stereo speakers and is housed on a stand that allows for swivel, pivot, tilt and height adjustment.
The Iiyama ProLite XB248HSU will be on sale for ¥27,800 ($280) and will be backed by a three year manufacturer warranty.
