Already having a solid foothold in the desktop PC power management (PWM) IC segment, STMicroelectronics has now announced the introduction of its PWM IC family, PM6685, for the mobile PC segment. This compact PWM IC solution emphasizes a reduced product size and a single chip solution to extend mobile PC battery life, according to the company.
