Asus, DFI, MSI Give Mobos The Crossfire Treatment

MSI RD480 Neo2

MSI's RD480 Neo2 is the lowest-end motherboard out of the three we tested, but it is also the most affordable.

There are two 32 Bit PCI and two x1 PCIe slots each, while the latter can still be used with two double-slot ATI graphics cards installed, and only the orange PCI slot will remain accessible. MSI uses a Gigabit Ethernet controller by Realtek (RTL8100SB), which is attached via the conventional PCI bus. Thanks to its Firewire controller from VIA, as many as three 1394a ports can be used, while one of these can be found at the back panel.
