The functions we tested were color and black and white copies, color photo reproduction and automatic enlargement of a 10 x 15 cm print to A4 format. Here again, we lack the space for details. The images below show the results for color copies.

Canon F20 | Epson CX 3200 |

hp psc 1210 | Lexmark X5150 |
Despite good results in other respects, Epson comes last here. This could be foreseen from the comments on the previous pages. The CX3200 lacks detail in both prints and scans. Using these two functions together could not be expected to produce very good results.
Though its color results are adequate, the Canon falls short in the copy test, again because of its scanner, which darkens color - all the monochrome reproductions are too dark. The color ones are better.
Once again, HP wins quite easily. The psc 1210 is fastest in color and in black and white, and is also the one that turns out the truest copies.
