RAM: OCZ PC4000 Dual Channel Gold
Two 512 MB modules from the manufacturer OCZ were used. Although they only support average timings of CL2.5-4-4-7, they adequately handled the 250 MHz memory speed that we required. To do this, however, we had to increase the input power of the memory modules from 2.5 to 2.7 volts - as recommended by OCZ. During the first few test runs at high system clock rates, the maximum speed was just under 270 MHz.
