When the Galaxy S III first went on sale in the United Kingdom last month, Samsung announced plans to give the first fifty people to buy the phone free tickets to the Olympic Games set to take place in London next month. However, for those that missed out on the opportunity to snag tickets to go and see the Games, there will be free access to coverage of the games.
EuroSport this week revealed that for every purchase of a Galaxy S III, Samsung is offering a one-month subscription to Eurosport Player. This can be activated at anytime between July 14 and August 12 of this year.
Available for customers in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, and United Kingdom, the deal is good for one month of service. After that period, you'll have the option of extending your EuroSport subsciption via Google Play. EuroSport ordinarily costs €5.90 per month, so that's how much you can expect to pay if you want to keep the application past your the initial free month.
Samsung last month named the Galaxy SIII the official phone of London 2012 and revealed plans to give Samsung and Visa sponsored athletes and trialists GSIII units that can be used to buy merchandise at thousands of retail locations around London.
