HTC One X+ Spotted in O2 UK Brochure

HTC hasn't yet announced the One X+ but that hasn't stopped leaks regarding the device. At this point, we know quite a bit about the HTC One X+. Still, leaks from unnamed sources can only get you so far. Eventually, you're going to want some hard evidence that the phone is indeed on the way. Today brings us just that thanks to an O2 UK brochure that seems to have accidentally confirmed the phone's existence as well as some hardware specs for the smartphone.

The O2 ad, as spotted by GSM Arena, reveals that the phone will come with a 1.7GHz processor, 64GB of storage with an additional 25GB through DropBox, Beats audio, and an 8-megapixel camera. In case you were worried that this puppy might ship with an older version of Android, don't panic, HTC has got your back. According to O2, the ONe X+ will ship with Android 4.1, also known as Jelly Bean.

O2 has the phone priced at £479.99, which is in the normal range for off-contract smartphones. No word on release date, but we'll keep you posted.

If it has a 1.7 GHz quad core CPU that means they abandoned the Tegra SoC.

These articles should seriously be proof read. Also wouldn't it make sense to say One X+ in the title?

1.7 Ghz quad core? That's even faster than my old AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ 2.8 Ghz dual core processor...

  • I have just handed over a HTC HD2 running Jelly Bean to my 11yr old Daughter, cant understand how it is taking so long for manufacturers to update their phones. Seriously, there a e loads of non-professional enthusiasts with great working cooked JB Roms out there for so many devices, its just wrong companies such as Samsung and HTC take so long to move forward!

Its the phone companies causing most of the hang-ups.

ipwn3r4561.7 Ghz quad core? That's even faster than my old AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ 2.8 Ghz dual core processor... No its not. A 4 core CPU at 1.7Ghz per core does not mean 6.8Ghz.

Headline states nothing about the One X+ and first line tells us they are going to "sel" them. C'mon Toms this shit is getting old.
