Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Range Set For MWC 2013

Samsung's rumored Galaxy Tab 3 range may see the unveiling of two tablets during the Mobile World Congress next month.

SamMobile spoke to a "Korean insider" who claimed that Samsung is planning new 7-inch and 10-inch slates for its Galaxy Tab 3 range. The tablets are currently being built under the codename "Santos", with Samsung expected to officially name them as the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. Both devices are said to sport 5-megapixel cameras.

Samsung previously confirmed the existence of the Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet, which will be announced at the Barcelona event during the latter stages of February. The device, which apparently runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a quad-core 1.6GHz processor, is set for a launch during March.

The South Korean technology giant is also said to be working on the Galaxy Note 3 phablet. The rumored smartphone/tablet hybrid may sport eight cores, as well as a 6.3-inch screen.
