Gamescom 2014: Alienware Alpha Hands-On Video
We’re presenting a video of Alienware’s compact gaming PC that is supposed to bring Valve’s PC game selection to the living room TV with Steam’s Big Picture mode.
Right before Gamescom, Alienware introduced the Alpha gaming PC. The system was originally intended as a Steam Machine back at CES, but the company had to re-purpose it as a Windows 8.1 desktop PC with a regular XBox 360 controller after Valve delayed the release of SteamOS until 2015. The Alpha was first publicly demonstrated at Gamescom, and we've captured it on video.
