BlackBerry Announces 5-inch Z30 Phablet with BB OS 10.2

BlackBerry is following on from the Z10 with the Z30. The Canadian company announced the 5-inch smartphone this morning, calling it the company's biggest and fastest smartphone to date.

The Z30 boasts a 5-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1.7 GHz CPU, quad-core graphics, stereo speakers, new antenna technology for better connectivity in low signal areas as well as a 2880 mAh battery, the biggest battery ever present in a BlackBerry device. BlackBerry is promising up to 25 hours of "mixed use" though that's obviously a little on the vague side. The company says the battery is boosted by the fact that the phone runs on BlackBerry OS 10.2 but we'll have to wait until the phone is available before we can really test that out.

The Z30 is BlackBerry's fourth BB10 handset, the first two being the Q10 and the Z10 announced earlier this year. The Q5, a lower-end version of the Q10 aimed at emerging markets, was announced BlackBerry Live in May of this year. BlackBerry hasn't gone into specifics about availability for the Z30 except to say that it will launch in the UK and Middle East first. Every where else will get the phone coming up to the holidays. No word on pricing just yet.

Where I live, their Q10 cost only a little less than new note 3. No wonder the company is going bankrupt. They need to work on the pricing.
Price this around $500 unlocked and I'll jump on BB bandwagon.

Writing this on my Z10, the new BlackBerry 10 devices are freaking awesomeness. It's a shame so few no this,i blame BlackBerry marketing department. You have no idea how many people ask me what phone that is, and I tell.them a blackberry and they are in disbelief. Before bberry issue was the product, they've fixed that, now it's the marketing if they could get the mind share back, they would be in the game.

Well, did not expect it to be as fast, but I think the time came that smartphones are not surprising, the only thing the difference is: pixels, size and price (http://www.officegraphicdesign.com/web-design-miami ).
