After the launch of the X99 platform, various memory manufacturers are introducing their DDR4 memory kits (including Corsair, Panram, Avexir, G. Skill and Adata.) Among them is also Team Group, which is introducing a large handful of different memory kits.
There will be modules with two speeds, two capacities, and two classes. The frequencies are either 2133 MHz with CL15 timings or 2400 MHz with CL16 timings. These will be available in 4 GB or 8 GB capacities and available as either Elite or Elite+ units, which simply means that they either come bare or with a heatsink. All the modules operate at 1.2 V, within the DDR4 specification.
For kit options there will be either a single 4 GB module, a single 8 GB module, two 4 GB modules for a dual-channel 8 GB kit or two 8 GB modules for a dual-channel 16 GB kit. Given all the different options, this makes for sixteen different retail SKUs, although we're not sure if all of these will make it to shelves.
Team Group did not announce pricing, although given the lower speeds of these units we would imagine that they would be among the more inexpensive DDR4 modules. They do come with a lifetime warranty.
