Origin PC Shows Off Obsidian 900D Special Edition

By - Source: TechPowerUp | B 12 comments

Origin PC has announced the availability of the Obsidian 900D enclosure within its GENESIS lineup of gaming desktops.

Origin PC has announced that it has added the 900D chassis to the GENESIS lineup of desktop systems. Earlier we saw Digital Storm build a machine housed in the Obsidian 900D. Now Origin PC has joined the club.

Origin PC claims that the 900D is the ideal enclosure for any hardware enthusiast since it offers room for up to nine hard drives, two power supplies, four graphics cards and a ridiculous amount of water cooling expandability.

In the GENESIS lineup, the 900D makes it possible to mount up to five radiators, liquid cooling for the CPU and all the GPUs, and mount up to four GeForce GTX Titans. In addition, Origin PC offers a custom paint job executed with automotive paint.

"The Corsair 900D is a perfect addition to our GENESIS line of high-performance desktops. With plenty of room for upgrades and support for up to 4-WAY SLI Liquid-Cooled TITANs, the GENESIS 900D is the ideal solution for any hardware enthusiast," said Kevin Wasielewski, Origin PC's CEO and co-founder.

Pricing starts at $1,430.

I'm really curious what this nearly 1.5 thousand dollar computer consists of. But overall a very nice looking case/build.

Maybe I have too much time on my hands, but I prefer to put a build together myself than buy it from a boutique.

They really needed to change the panel color to all red in the front, the black then red is kinda lacking for a super high end 2$$$ + machine
