Hynix Semiconductor today introduced a family of components and high capacity modules based on its 60 nm-made 1 Gbit DDR2 DRAM chips. This new memory is suitable for high density DRAM components and high performance products such as graphic and mobile DRAMs. The Korean chipmaker said it will commence volume production in the first half of 2007.
