GMC Noblesse SE

Noblesse SE from GMC

GMC was a new name to us in the case arena and we had not previously reviewed any of their products. Although from what we are told, GMC enjoys wide product recognition outside of North America, this was THG's first chance to get a look at products from GMC.

The Noblesse SE is a combination of several different concepts in case development as well as GMC's commitment in bringing new innovations into the case sector. Noblesse SE represents an evolution in case design by offering several features that are not found in any other cases. Only the consumer can be the final judge as to how widely accepted these innovations will be.

Noblesse SE brings a lot of new and innovative ideas to the table, the most interesting of which is the 3-In-1 HDD selector which allows you to install three hard drives and select between them before system boot up. At first, we didn't really understand the usefulness of this technology, but the ability to have multiple operating systems of different drives, keeping them separate as if you had three different PCs, is definitely an application that some might have use for. In testing environments or perhaps a family situation where multiple family members use the same PC, this could be a handy idea. We tested the 3-In-1 HDD selector and it did work as described allowing you to select the hard drive prior to using the PC. Nice idea for GMC to come up with.

In addition to the 3-In-1 HDD selector, GMC went the extra mile by including a multi-format USB card reader, and a separated blister packed screw kit, which was a joy to use when it came time to put the case together.

At look at the screw pack that comes with the Noblesse SE.
