Google Announces 'Ready to Play' for Android Gaming
A new app for Android gaming fanatics.
Between the confirmation of the new Nexus 7, the release of Android 4.3 and the surprise unveiling of Chromecast, Google's press breakfast this morning wasn't short of excitement. However, that's not all the company talked about today. Along with Android 4.3, the company also released a brand new Google Play Games application called Ready to Play.
Ready to Play is definitely one for competitive types. The app helps you monitor your achievements across different games as well as challenge friends and others, and compete for the top spot on the leaderboard. You can also use the application to play against friends, join multiplayer games, compare scores, see what your friends are playing and discover new games.
Ready to Play requires Android 2.2 and up and is already available to download via the Play Store.
