Enermax Reveals LIQMAX 120S Liquid CPU Cooler

Enermax has announced yet another liquid CPU cooler, the LIQMAX 120S. The LIQMAX 120S is a simple All-in-One water cooler that features a single 120 mm radiator, a 120 mm fan, and what at first looks like a simple CPU block, but in reality is a little more than that.

The LIQMAX 120S also features the company's patented "Shunt Channel Technology" or SCT cold plate. To make a long story short, this is a break in the ridges for the coolant to flow in the CPU contact block, allowing the water that hasn't warmed up as much (along the outside of the channels) to mix with the warmer water for slightly better heat transfer. We're not sure if it'll help, but the idea seems to make sense.

Featured on the unit is also the 120 mm fan, which can spin at variable speeds between 600 and 2500 RPM, and it is PWM controlled. It also features a "Twister Bearing."

The units will come in two versions: one with a lit fan, and another with a non-lit fan. They will be known as the ELC-LM120S-TAA and ELC-LM120S-HP, respectively. There was no word on pricing.

Honestly, i was waiting for Asetek to release their 760GC which was a CPU and GPU combo liquid cooler with a 240 radiator. They just pulled it off Ebay without no warning and it was a great idea and awesome to implement into an ITX case.

Well i can still dream :(
