NZXT's Sentry 3 Touchscreen Fan Controller Debuts
NZXT's new fan controller is called the Sentry 3 and has a touchscreen.
NZXT has announced its new touchscreen fan controller – the Sentry 3. This fan controller fits in a single 5.25" drive bay, and has a touchscreen.
Regarding connectivity, the unit has a total of five fan channels. Each channel supports up to 15 W, so if you're creative, you can probably hook up more than just five fans to the unit. The fan controller also has SCP, OVP, and UVP protection circuitry to keep your hardware safe.
For control, NZXT has also given the unit a new feature – channel linking. This allows you to link various channels together so that they can all be controlled simultaneously, which might be useful for us lazy ones who don't want to be bothered having to adjust each channel individually every time we enter a game. The unit also has a quiet mode and performance mode, which will control all the channels for you.
Also present is a single temperature sensor, the reading of which will be displayed on the panel.
Pricing is set at $34.99, and the unit is already available directly from NZXT.

Haravikk Is it still manual control, i.e - can the temperature sensor actually be used to control fan speed automatically? I'm getting sick of fan controllers including temperature sensors then not actually using them, even though doing so would be dead simple.Reply
