Throughput
Intel’s X25 SSD family remains unbeaten when it comes to maximum throughput. The Solidata SSDs are fast, but they don’t come anywhere near 200 MB/s sustained sequential transfer rate, and they lose the write throughput comparisons. Samsung’s new 256 GB PB22-J performs very well at up to 210 MB/s and delivers a nice 174 MB/s average read performance. And it shows the highest sustained minimum sequential write performance at 144 MB/s—this is even better than the results of Intel’s X25-E.
