The driver CD contains ATI's reference driver. Since the review samples were sent out before the official X1900 drivers were released, newer versions are available for download on the internet. Power DVD 6 2ch is included in for DVD playback; this is the 6-channel version of the program.
Sapphire offers a smart and flexible gaming bundle. The card comes with four games, from which the buyer can choose two full versions for free; the buyer is also entitled to purchase any of the remaining games at a reduced price. The selection of games consists of Tony Hawks Underground 2, Prince of Persia - Warrior Within, Richard Burns Rally, and Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30. The software CD containing Power Director 4 DE Full OEM doubles as advertising space for Cyberlink - the CD's startup window offers information on the company's complete line of products.
Power Director 4 DE Full OEM is a video-editing suite, and the version bundled by Sapphire is the most recent one included with any of the X1900 XTX cards. The product key is printed on the software CD, and thankfully, the font and size are legible. Don't forget to put the CD back in the drive after entering the product key, or the setup routine will crash.
