Intel Rigs Up: P4 Series with FSB800
New Boards With 865 Chipset (Springdale)
For our test we obtained a variety of boards from Asus, Gigabyte, Intel and MSI, each fitted with the 865 chipset. Our test setup included an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (reference card) and a selection of DDR 400 memory (CL2, 512 MB with PC 3500).

Participating throughout the tests: the Intel D865PERL board based on the 865 chipset. Its specification level is somewhat basic.
