While Supreme Commander is CPU limited, it’s also graphically limited, and this allows the new mid-range system to beat its predecessor at all resolutions, whether or not anti-aliasing is applied.
Warhammer is the only title that seems to ignore the benefit of SLI, and perhaps even adversely reacts to it. Even with an extremely CPU-bottlenecked engine, the previous build shows a higher advantage than its 180 MHz higher clock speed should provide.
