EKWB Says All Current EK-Water Blocks are Haswell Ready

With Intel's Haswell launch nearing, a lot of manufacturers are testing the compatibility of their products with Intel's new platform. Most of the emphasis is being placed on the compatibility of power supplies, but a power supply isn't the only part in a computer. Cooling companies are also testing their products on the new platform to check if they are compatible and fit properly on the new LGA 1150 socket.

EK Water Blocks has announced that all of its current EK CPU water blocks are ready and compatible with the LGA 1150 socket. Of course, this shouldn't come as a big surprise, since there haven't been any changes to the cooling pin holes in the socket coming from the LGA 1155 platform. That being said, there is still some comfort to be found in knowing that your EK-Supremacy, EK-Supremacy LTX, and EK-Supremacy LTX UNI will work perfectly well on Intel's upcoming platform. Do consider, it should speak for itself that the AMD cooling blocks will not work on the LGA 1150 platform, as was the case with the LGA 1155 platform.

That's good news. I was wondering if my Hyper 212 Plus would work with a Z87 motherboard and apparently it will.
