Fujitsu has announced a water-resistant 10-inch full HD tablet in the form of the Arrows Tab WiFi FAR70B, a follow up to the FAR75A model launched last year.
In addition to a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, the device is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and a 12-core graphics processing unit. A 9.9 mm body is joined by 32 GB of internal memory.
A high-capacity 10,080 mAh battery that promises 14 hours of video playback on a single charge is included, as well as "advanced" water and dust-resistance technology. Also offered is a fingerprint sensor and Dolby surround speakers. It'll run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
A launch is currently scheduled for February 15 in Japan, with the price remaining "open." Expect an international launch following MWC later this month.
